Student Opportunities

Ensembles

Our ensembles work with leading conductors and directors to present professional standard performances throughout the year.

Our orchestra works with international conductors including Johannes Fritzsch, Jessica Cottis, Tze Law Chan and Alondra de la Parra.

Ranging from small chamber ensembles to symphony orchestras and big bands, our students are given performance opportunities which prepare them to perform at the highest level.

Fully-staged annual productions

Each year we present fully-stage productions featuring the opera and musical theatre students with the talented orchestral students providing the score.

Working with renowned directors such as Bruce Beresford, Stuart Maunder and Ian Good, alongside leading set, lighting and costume designers our students get to perform in their own professional level production led by some of the industry’s best creatives.

Previous productions have included:

  • Iolanthe (opera, 2022)
  • 42nd Street (musical theatre, 2022)
  • Heathers (musical theatre, 2022)
  • Grease (musical theatre, 2021)
  • Les Misérables (musical theatre, 2019)
  • La Finta Giardiniera (opera, 2019)
