Benefit from our powerful partnerships

We maintain strong relationships with schools and industry partners, including two school-based teacher education centres of excellence. You'll have the opportunity to engage with experts who are moving education forward in priority areas, including teaching literacy and developing teachers as researchers.

We offer support, networking opportunities and professional development for teachers. The Professional Development days we host are not only engaging, information and interactive, but provide the knowledge within industry to share with their students. A Certificate of Participation is awarded to each teacher as evidence of their professional development.

High school and community opportunities

The School of Education and Professional Studies supports a range of high school programs across our Gold Coast, Logan, and Mt Gravatt campuses. These are to acquaint you with our campuses and what it would be like to study Education at Griffith. You can find out first hand by arranging a personalised campus tour, attend one of our workshops, or come along to Experience Day. We also offer alternative pathway programs for students to start studying with us sooner.

Experience days

Year 10-12 students

Experience days offer a great way to get a feel of University life and focus on the areas of study you are interested in. You will meet lecturers and staff from your area of interest, as well as likeminded students from other schools. Hurry, book now so you don't miss out.

GUESTS Program

Year 12 students

This program offers the opportunity for students to sample university life by allowing them to study a single course (subject) at university while attending semester one or two of year 12. Once completed successfully, students receive full credit which counts towards their undergraduate degree and also provides guaranteed entry into Griffith.

Uni-Reach program

The Uni-Reach program aims to give students at selected Brisbane, Logan and Gold Coast secondary schools assistance in improving their academic performance to gain entry to Griffith. Students are selected with the support of principals, teachers and guidance officers.

Campus tours & school visits

Year 8-12 students

We can arrange our staff, lecturers or current students to come out to your school and talk to students about degrees within the School. Or, if you prefer a broad presentation on careers and pathways into Griffith including highlights from all study areas, we can arrange this too. Alternatively, campus tours are a fantastic way of giving your students a hands-on experience.
