Griffith Pride

Griffith celebrates members of our community who are part of the LGBTQIA+ rainbow. As our understanding of identities grows and evolves, so does our language. Griffith now also uses the terminology "people of diverse genders, bodies and sexualities" (DGBS) to reflect this.

Griffith is committed to providing an inclusive environment for DGBS students and staff. We have a Pride committee and Ally Network to drive our strategies, and are a member of Pride in Diversity.

About our Griffith Pride Crossing

Griffith's Strategic Plan commits to providing a safe, supportive and inclusive environment and our Griffith community has been clear about the importance of promoting visible signs of inclusion of people of diverse genders, bodies and sexualities. The Progress Pride Flag crossing, created in June 2021, represents a welcoming and inclusive Griffith journey for all.
