Focusing on wellness and healthy behaviours, Joy's research aims to understand the basis and effects of risk behaviours for consumers and the interventions to change them.
Joy’s mission is to develop a set of novel, solution-based consumer wellness programs to deliver behaviour change programs to consumers to prevent chronic disease.
Her current projects
Joy is currently working on: My Health for Life. This project aims to complete 10,000 Queenslanders over a three-year-period, in a lifestyle behaviour change program, which aims to reduce their risk of developing chronic diseases.
