A sustained, institution-wide, evidence-based approach to English language development

The multi-award winning Griffith English Language Enhancement Strategy (GELES) has been specifically designed to enhance the English language proficiency and academic success of students with English as an Additional Language (EAL). GELES comprises six components, which collectively support students throughout the student lifecycle: Succeeding at Griffith; English Language Enhancement Course (ELEC); Postgraduate English Language Enhancement (PELE); EnglishHELP; Griffith Mates; and English4grads.
