Clinical Trial Unit
Griffith University's Clinical Trial Unit provides state-of-the-art facilities and professional coordination services for phase I-IV clinical trials.
We conduct a wide range of investigator-initiated trials across various therapeutic areas including infectious diseases, respiratory and neurological diseases.
Gold Coast Biobank
The Gold Coast Biobank is a central biospecimen resource for health and medical researchers in South East Queensland. We have over 10,000 stored samples available for research, including 3,000 breast cancer specimens and 1,500 placenta cord blood specimens.

Griffith Nanomedicine Biofoundry
The Nanomedicine Biofoundry within the Menzies Health Institute Queensland (MHIQ) is the first facility of its kind in Australia, an integrated resource for high-throughput synthetic biology.
Our Biofoundry leverages Griffith’s expertise in RNA and nanoparticle therapies for cancers and infectious diseases to lower the barrier for researchers to test DNA and RNA treatments in cell cultures and in vivo or animal models.
Biostatistics, Bioinformatics and Epidemiology
The Griffith Biostatistics, Bioinformatics and Epidemiology group within Menzies Health Institute Queensland is expert at designing, managing, analyzing, and interpreting data in health research studies.
