Our Griffith gold
Griffith University has a rich history of its students competing on the world stage. The Olympic and Paralympic Games roll of honour currently sits at 64 students who have taken home 13 gold, nine silver and 19 bronze medals. Commonwealth Games have seen 39 students; from cyclist Walter Lancaster and diver Simon McCormack as representatives at the 1990 Auckland Games through to a squad of 22 who competed at Glasgow in 2014.
Griffith Sports College is a support network for elite student athlete helping them pursue sporting careers while completing their university education.
