Leave types

A number of leave types are available to Griffith staff.  For information on available leave types please refer to the relevant Enterprise Agreement:

Most leave types can be applied for via: Staff Portal > My Staff Page > Time and Absence > Request Absence

Keeping in touch

All staff are encouraged to keep in touch with the University during long term leave. It is important to have clear expectations between the staff members, colleagues and manager prior to commencement of leave regarding the type and frequency of contact.

Parental leave

The following parental leave entitlements are available to Griffith University staff:
