Study business at Griffith

Learn from the best

When you study business at Griffith, you’re studying among the world's best. We are recognised experts in a range of business disciplines and are accredited by the AACSB – International, which means your degree will be recognised internationally for its high quality.

Foundation first year

In your first year of study you'll explore core business skills and concepts and have the opportunity to try some different courses before choosing your major (or majors) in second year. First year is also a great time to get to know the students you'll be studying alongside for most of your degree.

Choose your specialisation

You can choose to specialise in one of 13 diverse business majors:

If you don’t want to complete a major, you can choose from a range of courses that provide broad knowledge for a career in business management. Or you can expand your expertise and build a degree to match your career aspirations with a second business major, a politics and public policy major, or a major from the Bachelor of Commerce.

If you’re not sure which majors to choose just yet, that’s okay. Once you enrol you can try some different courses before you choose the combination that’s right for you.

Hands-on learning

Put theory into practice with a local or global project-based internship or Community Internship. You’ll gain professional experience working on a project for a real organisation, plus credit towards your degree.

Study your way

Build your business studies around the lifestyle that suits you. With the flexibility of studying on-campus, online, part-time or full-time, over two or three trimesters each year, you can manage your student life. At Nathan and the Gold Coast, you can start your business degree in February, July or October.

Fast-track option

At Logan, you can complete your Bachelor of Business in two years by studying on a three-trimester per year basis (four courses per trimester). Fast-track options are also available at Nathan and the Gold Coast by studying over three trimesters.

Multiply your career options

With Griffith’s Business School's double degree options, you can expand your career opportunities without doubling your study time. In as little as four years, you can graduate with a unique skill set that will give you an edge in the employment market. A double degree allows you to make your passion profitable and build a career that is as unique as your interests.

5-Star Rated

Griffith Business School is rated 5-stars for Educational Experience and Teaching Quality in Business and Management by the Good Universities Guide 2018, a leading independent provider of high-quality education and career information.

Jackie Babbage

During four years studying a business and graphic design double degree, Jackie Babbage worked three different roles at three different businesses and completed a university internship with an app development company.
