There are lots of ways staff and students can engage with sustainability initiatives at Griffith. We invite all staff and students to share their achievements—big and small, get involved, and support the SDGs.  Find out what you can do below.

Act

  • Join the internationally renowned Green Impact Program – staff can form a team of 2 or more, create their own online or on-campus sustainability goals and actions, and be in running for annual Sustainability Awards. Students can join a team or become a volunteer auditor. Make a pledge on our virtual SDG pledge wall.
  • Map your work: What SDGs are you already addressing in your areas of expertise/work/study? Include these in your bios (Griffith Experts, LinkedIn profile etc), Course Outlines etc
  • Bring your own keep cup and help reduce waste.
  • Consider how you get to campus (walk, cycle, public and intercampus bus transport to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and traffic congestion)
  • Staff can support students who face hardship by contributing through the Staff Giving Program

Tell us what you're doing, share your achievements, and tell us your sustainability story. Your initiatives, research and publications are all important data for our SDG Impact Report, Times Higher Education Impact Rankings submission, and for raising awareness about the amazing sustainability work at Griffith.
