Design Majors

Graphic and communication design

Develop creative design skills in graphic and communication design, including print and corporate design, publishing and packaging, advertising and marketing, as well as printing for industry, art direction and styling, typography, signage and illustration.

Interior design and environments

Develop skills in observing, measuring and designing interior spaces in built environments, including institutional, commercial and domestic spaces.

Product and 3D design

Develop an understanding of the fabrication of products in the context of Sustainability, and learn how to eliminate the need for disposable products and create products that last longer and are repairable. Learn about 3D design and printing for complex products and the use of computer-aided design in manufacture.

Visualisation design

Visualisation has many applications, from architectural and urban planning, scientific and medical visualisation, to the visualisation of information, data and products. Develop specialist software skills, offering opportunities in visualisation, post-production, video production and motion graphics.
